Doppy654's interpretation: Allow us to get hold of a player's IP address through the use of LUA.
This is as pointless as pointless gets. Plus, this would be a potential update that hackers and exploiters can use. |

God, don't post unless you actually understand what it means.
Neither of you know what it means, so please go away.
A HASH of their IP
Not their IP
A HASH OF THEIR IP.
Meaning we CAN'T get their IP back from it.
Assuming they will use a strong hash like Sha512.
It's not pointless, either. We can use it to make better banning systems that stop people going on alts (Proxies would work but they'd require a modified RobloxApp.exe which would be horrendously difficult to make and horrendously laggy to operator) |

| Oysi, since the IP addresses are fixed size, any hash whose size is larger than the IP's size will probably never have collisions. |

| If there were issues with this, ROBLOX could somehow assign a custom IP code to each one. Sort of like a player ID, but for IPs. That way, it would be impossible to get somebody else's IP. |

@Anyone other than oysi who doesn't support
None of you provided arguments. You're all idiots. The one who did, you're even worse because it's obvious you harrass people on alts (Deleting and such)
Anyway, Oysi
If they use a sha512, I'm willing to take the chance that there's a megasmall chance that I might ban one legit user every few billion or trillion or so. (Or probably less than that) |

| @trapping Nice job forgetting all about me. Still, i am sure that there still are good reasons why this is bad, and thus, no need for an argument. |

"This is as pointless as pointless gets. Plus, this would be a potential update that hackers and exploiters can use." It's not pointless. It allows us to save across a network of computers, instead just a single account. Exploiters can't use it because it's hashed. |
