It would be amazing if there were some sort of offline version of ROBLOX. You would be able to use studio when you don't have internet connection (Which was possible before Studio 2.0). Like an offline studio. Which wouldn't need any connection at all. There would be this Que where you put the stuff in the Que so when you connect to the internet it would either update or create the Models/Places to ROBLOX depending on what you chose them to do. And the toolbox would have you stuff in it from when you were last on the Internet. Or something in that nature.

Lol you know nothing of ROBLOX. It doesn't need internet to run. Before the auto-update to 2.0 you could build offline. But that is gone now. And I clearly said that there would be an offline toolbox that was everyhting you had since you were last on the internet.

Like all your models would be in there. Except there would be no free models in the offline version. You would only be able to access your own models/decals/ect.

> ROBLOX needs the internet to run
It'd need the Internet to connect to games and log-in, but all of ROBLOX's files are stored locally and therefore could be ran without an Internet connection. The only reason it says it requires it now is because ROBLOX hard-coded a block that prevents the application from running if it fails to ping http://www.roblox.com

Before they auto-updated the studio you didn't need internet to access it. You could open it and make a new place and build everything in then save it as a file and publish it to roblox when you got back online. Now you can't.

I'm not complaining. This is the ideas and suggestions page. If you don't like it don't look at the forum. Simple as that.

You can save them to your hard drive or external storage and use the Publish to Roblox feature to publish them after you have an Internet connection again.
