Hello and thanks for visiting my thread since i've came back from a long vacation from roblox. ( Yes I am a girl I just didnt get the girl hair )
Short version: There are tons and tons of bullies and trolls of this game. Some are exploiters that exploit really bad stuff that I don't want to name. Some kids that wiggle their way to getting open chat can hear these rude things people are saying and so on.
Chapter one: The rudeness on the forums People don't realize kids can read the forums too. I've heard of that " April 1st Hack/ Joke thing " I would take my children away from this site asap. On Suggestin's and Idea's some people are terribly behaving and giving no respect to the other Robloxians saying stuff like, GET OUT NOW. Or go into the kitchen and make me a sandwich. I have seen one thing that said, this is copied, we all know women can not build ( racist much?!?! )
Chapter two: Rudeness on in games to guests Everyone play as a guest for a day and see all the rudeness they are given. Some of the people don't let guests ride with them in a game and they are always the ones that get " killed " first just because they are a guest. I was a guest once and I HATED this behaivior, I was playing a tycoon and I couldn't find a way to get it to work, nobody had the nerve to help me either. So instead of having fun doing the tycoon, I was just standing there watching other people get money and ride on skateboards while they wait. I think that was TERRIBLE behaivor
Chapter three: Rudeness to EVERYONE There are so many trolls out there and some are trolling little kids. Trying to get around the rules by using symbols. Some kids are allowed to have " open chat " and they can see all this bad behaivior going around roblox using symbols to censor bad words. My daughter has played a game and I took her right off because of the behaivor.
One of my questions is, do you think I should keep my children on roblox? Its a fun game and all but a person can only take much and I want best for my children. |

Depends.
It all relies on the kids maturity, as he will be dealing with others. |

| Un-safe, if ROBLOX is still running when I have kids, I will not let them play this game, unless if the community got better. |

Hey there,
We share your concerns and are fully committed to keeping Roblox a child-safe environment.
We do our best to keep Roblox free of inappropriate content, and our crack team of moderators are always diligent in removing bad material as soon as they spot it.
Because we allow users to upload their own material, at times we have bad users sneaking past inappropriate content. That is why every item page, forum post, comment, place, and in-game chat has a Report Abuse link where a user can notify the moderators on duty of inappropriate material or conduct. We encourage players and their parents to make use of this feature so that our moderators can respond promptly and thoroughly.
Thanks for your concern, and if you have further questions you can email info@roblox.com and they will be glad to help.
Gordon. |
