I've never seen anything like that O.o I only use the Weld instance when welding anchored parts and then unanchor them and they move either through CFraming the base part, or a BodyVelocity in the base part (for moving doors or flying planes).
Blame Roblox's horrible physics D: |

Well, my gun makes scorches, and welds them to the block it hit (for the sake of no flying scorches when things move away), it works fine when you shoot on anchored blocks, but shooting at my helicopter or jeep makes them both unable to move until the scorch is gone. I've checked other unanchored blocks, with the same result.
I've checked the scorches for cancollide and anchored, but they were unanchored and uncancollide.
Any help? |

O.o
Try anchoring both the scorch and part it hit, then weld them, then unanchor in the same frame? |

Yeah that's why I'm here. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
Anyway, I made them both turn anchored then unanchored. Makes it even buggier. |

| Just add a little bit of force to move them (preferably CFrame) and it should work right. |

I think welding it to the helicopter makes the Helicopter act Anchored(Obviously).
Try using what a grappling hook uses to stick to stuff maybe? I haven't looked at a grappling hooks code, but it could be helpful to try.

... Dumbest question I've ever seen... Anyway, I will be nice. It holds the Bricks together... As you should know.
And Master, May we start over? A new start? And put everything behind us. |
