well it was a complicated and long story
but basically the big secret at the end was that this man thought to have been killed in a fire, hadn't died after all, and he was in fact being kept as a slave to do work for this man :< |

I remember a sad ending of a book. It was called "Four Steps To Death". I almost cried at the end. It was about the war of Stalingrad. This guy named Vasily was in love with the sniper on his team, but at the end they got trapped and she gave him her sniper and said that he needed to shoot her. His last words were "I love you" and then he pulled the trigger. So sad.
