Yep. It's that time of the year again, when someone proposes a pretty ambitious project.
For the past few years, place creators have been using many badly-made vital free models to compose their games—like tycoon kits, gun templates, VIP doors, administrative chat commands, or driving tools for cars and aircraft!
I think it would be convenient for a lot of the ROBLOX game-creating community that we re-create these useful systems into their much more efficient counterparts.
For the convenience of people looking for these trustworthy models, we should keep these items in neatly organized sets and make them easy to work with.
We can work together on different types of items and then release them under a trusted brand.
This may help to boost the quality of games. |

| I don't really care about the quality of games. They all suck and they won't improve. I only care about what my skill allows me to make.. |

| Admin commands definitely need a remaking. I don't get why people continue to use P299's when there are much better (Quenty's) admin commands out there. |

| @aboy It'd still be neat to have a set of items that people might need sometime and they can trust on to not fail on them or basically just suck, like most models out there do. |

The reason this probably wouldn't work is because people have been attempting it for awhile. You said yourself, Quenty has a much better set of Admin commands people can use, instead of P299's. However, most of Roblox's users like the familiarity and ease of using stuff they already know how to use.
And in their minds, the stuff they're using right now is top-notch and cutting edge. |

The problem with this thinking is that nearly every game has a different purpose. For example, what if you wanted a plane that could bomb but not fire missiles? What if you wanted the bombs to be red?
When you think about it the only real way to help place creators is to refer them to the wiki so they can make stuff specifically tailored to their own game. |

| Great. We should also maintain our code clean. This would allow people to learn from the code and easily modify it. |

Yeah. I made a really good custom admin script before that made it easy to add commands.
It used _G and it was simple :P But I have no idea where it is now. |

Couldn't you use a tool?
Also it will always require one of these, at least until they make global player/mouse access which is very near release anyways. |

Yeah, but I prefer hopperbins because they don't require a handle to call the selected function. Steps, but you probably could do this yourself:
[1]Make a localscript in StarterPack [2]Make a Tool in StarterPack [3]Make a handle in Tool
LocalScript code: wait(.5) tool = script.Parent.Tool script.Parent.Parent.Character.Humanoid:EquipTool(tool) tool.Equipped:connect(function(mouse) _G.mouse = mouse end) --Now just use the mouse globally, atleast within the client. |
