Disclaimer: Don't shoot me because I'm not a building connoisseur.
-=-
Please grab yourself an ice cream sandwich and sit down to a lovely little idea.
Privacy bricks? Simple enough to explain, I suppose. A brick that's only transparent ONE way.
So, let's pretend I'm in a box made from privacy bricks. I can see everybody else clear as day but whenever someone looks at the box, they only see a box. They have no idea that a Robloxian is inside.
If this is already possible, please let me know If this isn't "physically" possible, please let me know If you enjoyed the concept, please let me know
Hope you enjoyed your ice cream sandwiches :P

Buzz,
Lots of things have/people use privacy Glass* IRL. Which has one-way visibility.
So yes, privacy bricks* would be a ROBLOX-equivalent.

| Set a brick's Transparency to 1 and add decals, that cover an entire side, to all sides except one. Now the brick can be see through only from the decalless side. |

Legolas,
Well, hmm, let's see. Let's take a brick
[] - Brick * - Decal T - Transparency R - Robloxian
Okay, let's do what you've said
R1 [T]* R2
So now, look at the diagram. R1 can see clearly UP UNTIL the decal blocks his vision. And R2 can't see through anything because the decal blocks his vision immediately. There's neither intervisibility nor semi-intervisibility

TL;DR: Your solution doesn't work.

@watevs
Are you sure about that? You might want to test it in Edit-mode... (I did) |

Lego,
Yes, I'm quite sure. In theory your solution doesn't work... Yet you say it works in practise?
Why decal did you use?

It doesn't matter what decal, as long as it covers the entire side.
Now test it, will ya? |

Lego,
Well, it seems you're right. It does work :3
However, this idea is still not down for the count.
It would be nicer to have an actual function for this as opposed to having cover every single side with a decal.

[Robloxian1] [InvisibleBlock][Decal] [Robloxian2] |

Roblox does not create features which are obtainable through: Scripting, Building.
This is obtainable through Building. |

| But there's still that issue where decals overlap out of place (like seeing the flowerpot from a window on the other side in front of the frame of the window on the side you're facing). Would that affect the bricks? |
