Reaper Industries has been debating a weight system at the stronghold in the far future.
What that means is each gun will have a weight amount. The more weight you're carrying, the slower you are. Carry too much, and you'll have a very negative impact on yourself, being barely able to move.
For example.
Let's say you have only a sword and an autopistol. 25 walkspeed.
Let's say you have an LMG and a sniper. 14 walkspeed.

Guns that you buy can be stored in a trunk, or in the armory where you can customize your loadout based on guns you have bought.

It reminds you of that because Spectrum and BiB are both engines.

I love the idea.
Will it save previous guns you have bought at the fort, or will you have to work for them again, in different servers? -Asking if you're using DataPersistence for this- |

We've talked about it, and we've come to the agreement that guns will not have DataPersistence added to them, due to people being able to buy all kinds of weapons and go around being super OP juggs, etc.
However, guns will save to their StarterGear, and THAT will save it so that as long as they're in the server, they will keep them. |

strategy at current stronghold: be super boss at fighting raiders use money for sniper snipe people from the village.

That's good, seeing as you could work your way up, have a lot of stuff, and then just go around, being a OP jugg all the time. Obviously, the StarterGear is good, always want to keep your stuff, and not have to go through that annoying process to rebuy it everytime you die.
Besides that feature, is Project Grim coming up with anything else new? |

How is it cruel?
It's not like only Raiders have encumberance. TGI will have it too. It limits to what you can carry and it does balance it out. |

I don't know if that was just an example or not, but I think that walkspeed difference is pretty severe.
Even in just increments of 1, it would have a huge affect on such a large map.

@iSoft I and a couple others are remaking the GUI's, making it a lot cleaner and efficient.
We're moving the Raider spawns to a different location to cut down on any possible unfairness there, and we're re-doing the cave and adding a second capture point. |

I think that overall the add on is more hurtful than helpful. I mean sure, I do want the system to be balanced and stuff but if you allow for someone holding heavier weapons to become slower it just kind of kills the fun.
I like raiding TGI because it's fun to have a challenge.
