desktop pros: doesn't overheat as badly, numpad, often runs better, usually has more hard drive space (hey it's a tower you know)
desktop cons: stays in one place
laptop pros: portable, can be unplugged
laptop cons: if used too much the battery can fry (happened to me) |

Laptop Pro's: Portable Can take where ever You can use it at denny's Con's: Poor internet Fast ones are very heavy You have to wait 2 hours before you go to wifi spots
Desktops Pro's: Fast Customization You can build one easily You can use any keyboard Fast Good internet connection (Cord) Cons: Can't move it You can't charge it Takes up a hell of a lot of power loud They take up half your desk
I'd go with desktop if you like gaming in one spot and rarely have to move it, but Laptop for busy lifestyle, or you like being able to play games at the park, and can go outside and go on it.

@Liliam
Desktop
Pros: Has overall better specs, larger screen, more ports, can actually run Fallout 3 (fallout 3 doesn't work on laptop graphic cards D:)
cons: Hard to move, lots of cords
~Quite the contrary, my friend. |

@shadow
The 2,000 is an estimate
I made a deal with my parents
If one of my weekly tests contain an A I get $10 for it I get 5 weekly tests that's 50 dollars but they may not all yield an A |
