Im going into 8th grade, Im in the highest english class (Actually, the highest for all of my classes), and I need to read 3 books before school starts 8/22/2012. Anyone know of any semi-interesting nonfiction books i can get through fast that are "age-appropriate" ? Thanks -J4762 |

I took a book on Lua into my English class when I had to do that in 8th grade. Made some valid points on why I should be aloud to use it.
I won. |

| It was 2 years ago when I was in 8th grade, so yes it was Lua for Dummies when Cowbear16 hadn't written his book. |

I got a C, the comment was for my parents:
"Your son, has an interesting taste in books. I would of given him an A+ if I didn't have to refer to our programming teach and if he read a modern novel, such as The Hunger Games." |

Am I the only one here that hates the term "would of" with the most pure and concentrated form of hate possible? Seriously, the term is "would have" or "would've". There is ***NO*** "would of". |
