Pixie dust is for corporate formal.
Use extra fairy dust if you want to keep away anti-fairies. |

Nod gently. Prepare your fingers by cracking them, and get ready for the next phase: Eat a sandwich. It should be a pretty good sandwich. In fact, a very good sandwich.
Version control software should be prepared. SVN, Git, Hg, whatever you use, fire up your terminal. Eat another sandwich. Hopefully the keyboard is not greasy. Ready yourself for the second stage of scripting...
Greasy fingers should be wiped down before typing again. Open up your text editor to see what you've done already on this problem.
New problem? No worries.
A new problem is more fun anyway.
Give yourself a minute or two to think about the problem you're trying to solve. Is it in fact already solved? Make sure you check for other projects and algorithms. Very good algorithms are already out there for sorting, memory allocation - anything you can think of. Even doing a flood fill on an image.
You need to, again, prepare yourself. Perhaps a toilet break is necessary. Open up a web browser. Navigate to your favourite website (e.g. Roblox Wiki) Users of that website are pretty helpful, I hear...
Users of many websites are helpful, actually. Put away your pencils. The test has finished. |

Here's how to do it. Go ask your local unicorn. He will show you to the fairy dust and give you the golden pixie to help you find the wizard. BUT! To find the unicorn you must smash your face on your computer and jump off a 7 story building.
ENJOY being a scripter!

Alright, so here's what you're going to do. Once you complete building your map, enter this script: Blah = game.Workspace Blah:remove() You'll be pleased to find the outcome. |

I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you that what you just said doesn't actually mean anything.
I'd like to take this other opportunity to tell you that you're not going to be told how to script. It doesn't work that way. |

| I believe we're all poking fun at you. LUA is a programming language that doesn't just come, it takes time to get. You can't just be told how to script, you have to take classes or read tutorials, whither they be online or in real life. |

| I haven't found any good scripting tutorials on youtube. The one by stickmasterluke was more of a "Here is how studio looks like", yet Roblox bothered sending me that message. I suggest starting at the LuaLearners website. |

| You don't simply learn to script. It doesn't work like that. You can't simply be told how to script. You're going to have to have some patience and go looking for the answers yourself. If you get stuck on something, bring up the problem here: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=20 |
