| Fascinating blend, but unfortunately, I know nothing of steampunk. |

Not exactly.
Steampunk is like... If -in a technologically advanced society- a terrible disaster sent humans back to their primative days. In a mix of futuristic technology, Wild-West ideas, and Victorian culture, with a small sprinkle of the Medieval Age, people do just fine.
Btw, most everything is made of bronze, ivory, etc. and most tech is steam-powered.
Hence the name. |

Steampunk, eh? Mixed with vampires? It seems to make Steampunks more powerful as Vampires are, I believe, weak to bronze/silver.
Everything will be powered with steam, or possibly gears. If you run out of steam or your steam generator blows up...sucksforyou. |

| I like the Steampunk idea, I don't think it should really be mixed with something else. |

| Vampires and steam-punk actually somewhat go together, they aren't wildly different era and fashion wise. |

| This will be what brings me in. The time? Steam was popular in the 1800's so... |

| 1800s to near the beggining of the 1900s was the time of steam. Soon after the 1900s, electricity got big, so probably a bit after Civil War of America? |

| I think the American Civil War was around the 1870's? I'm not good with American history. But it sounds more interesting now. |
