cancer is srs, yes
but it can be made into a joke for humor to lighten the situation and the reality of cancer

Yeah, you can lol at it all you want, but there must be a degree of seriousness when talking about cancer.
If I were dying of cancer, I wouldn't find it "comforting" or "humorous" if I knew there were kids "loling" about me on an internet forum.

my grandma has had cancer twice my great grandma is hospitalized with a cancerous tumor one of my best friends since 1st grade is in the hospital with leukemia
i know what it is like to have people close to you having to go through these times |

I never make jokes about cancer at all. You may think that it lightens the situation, but trust me, it doesn't. Cancer is a serious illness and it should not be make a joke. You make know someone close who has cancer but i lost my own mother to it...so,no....I don't find it funny whatsoever.
