I think it's ridiculous and defeats the point of what Big Ben is supposed to be. Plus, the Queen is rich enough to build her own tower, why change the name of an English Icon because of a queen that has done barely anything for the people. In the UK, after elections, the Queen is supposed to make the leader of the winning party the Prime Minister, but 3 times in the past she has rejected the winner and it's undemocratic. |

No, Big Ben will still be Big Ben. Big Ben is the bell inside, not the tower.
Right now, the tower is simply called Clock Tower. It will be renamed to Elizabeth Tower. |

The only thing to Queen does is be miserable, have someone shave her ice to exact proportions and take peoples tax money to buy shiny things with.
