I love gaming but i also don't want to go blind or fat or make my brain get mashed so tell me how many hours a day is bad.
At the moment I play 2-2.5 hr on the weekdays and 3-4 on the weekends. |

| That seems like reasonable gaming time, but then again you're talking to someone who has played for three days straight in a gaming marathon... |

i think about 3.5 hours+ is bad.
This is a true story: One day, a teenage gamer was playing games for a VERY VERY long time. Two days later his body was found in his room, his game still on. |

I play games for the longest time and I don't need glasses.
But staying in a well lit room and a good distance from your screen may help.

I'm perfectly healthy and I'm on the computer all day every day. It's a matter of getting outside when you should and eating when you should, your posture while you play (You shouldn't lean in or hunch over), and you need to give your eyes a rest after a while, as well.

I think you are taking that a bit out of context. |

LOL Proof that gaming was the cause? Maybe he choked on food or something. Not enough information. |

No, he locked himself in a room for two days
never got up
ever
someone woke him up and he got up
but when he got up his heart stopped because of sudden complicated motion |

not to mention if it *is* correlated, he was probably an extreme example, isolated incident. it's like saying if you drive a car you will certainly die a horrible death in a collision. |

@dr
then it was probably a blood clot in his lower legs that got dislodged, travelled to his brain/heart, causing stroke/heart attack.
still, video games wouldn't be the culprit. if you take short breaks to stretch your legs blood clots can be easily avoided. |

| I am play with my face about 80 centimetres away from the screen, and only lean forwards when I'm in a combat game. If you ask why do I have to lean forwards at all, My screen is tiny. (30cm height, 40cm length) |

| I doubt that story is true, to be honest. You have to do stuff such as eat, drink, use the restroom. Games do get old eventually. |
