I have a Geforce GT 640 Graphics card with about 9000 MB of graphic on it. It is extremely powerful and yet I can't get the ambient occlusion shadows on ROBLOX. I went to settings, set my quality level to 21, took off anti-aliasing and bevels, and set shadows to "full". Although I get good quality and shadows, the ambient occlusion is not there. Can anyone help me?
I am using NVIDIA for my graphics. |

AmbientOcclusion is very stubborn. There's no boolean to turn it on, and even on powerful machines it sometimes decides it doesn't want to work.
They should really just let us force them on.

| You have to turn it on in the NVIDIA Settings. Same with me, I have a great PC Partition on a new iMac, with a REALLY good AMD graphics card and I can't figure it out either. |

This may or may not be related, but all of the time, I am seeing Parts with materials other than Plastic at times show studs/inlets and the like, but at other times show only Smooth surface.
What is up with that? |

| A GT640 isn't extremely powerful, and I've never seen a GT 640 with 8.7 gigs of video memory, if any single graphics card has that much. |

@IWant,
ever heard of an accessory mod? Customized my HP pc and designed my graphics card, to a certain limit. |

| Unless you're talking about your main RAM, I've never seen a graphics card with 8.7GB of video memory, even the highest-end ones. |

| On my mac (not the new iMac) I have a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M. I think I would get Ambient Shadows if ROBLOX Supported it on Mac and if I could, I would enable Ambient Shadows. Minecraft enables it automatically. |

I also heard ROBLOX tests the browser and ROBLOX it'self using windows XP on internet explorer? I'm running Windows 7 and I use google chrome to launch my games and forum.
Maybe what browser i'm using to launch a game is affecting it. |
