This game is basically an FPS set in the ninteenth century, a century in which guns became better, this was the century in which the first revolver, rifles and machine guns were made! So the reason I came here was because I needed ideas for weapons and maps.
The times when this game is set is in : Japanese Boshin War Zulu War American Civil War Manchu China Franco-Prussian War Maori New Zealand in Conflict with British Indian Wars --------------- So this game will also feature melee weapons from all these different parts of the world. The gun ideas I have so far are going to be listed. |

Make it more strategically oriented rather than high octane action, since most guns at that time take a long time to reload.

Also, yeah, a mafia-styled game where gangs fight each other would be cool. Maybe you could make a game based on the prohibition-era where al-capone used to roam? Lol

Make it like Halo 4's evolving spec-ops play.
Basically, make each round have a story behind it, whether you have to smuggle drugs with a firefight or just gain turf... Idk.

GUI & Camera Manipulation.
Shouldn't be hard; Just a simple intro cutscene outlining the objective of the current round:
For example, if a round is about capturing the package: - Camera goes around the battlefield. - Camera focuses on the package. - UI comes up saying 'There's the package!' - Camera focuses on enemies. - UI comes up saying 'Seems like we've got company.' - UI fades to black. - UI fades away and you start.
A bit like that.

| Either base it on the American Civil war since it's the most widely known one or combine all of those wars together. Maybe have certain weapons available depending on the war that the map you're playing in represents. |

| How's this for an idea? At the start of each round one player gets 'infected' and when he touches someone else they get infected. If the timer runs out the survivors win but if everyone is infected then they lose. Infected will have 3000 health but can't respawn. So it requires good teamwork to take them down and infected will be 10% faster as well. |
