We all know the triangle of Fire, Ice, and Water.
Fire is weak to water, water is weak to ice, ice is weak to fire.
Inspired by this, I thought up staffs for each element.

Name: Bago's Ice Staff/Eked's Fire Staff/Ayni's Water Staff
Price: 500-1,500R$ [This applies to all three]
Genre: Medieval, RPG
Type: Ranged Weapon, Power-Up
BC Only: No
Limited: No
Timed: No

Now to label abilities. Each staff has different ways of usage when it comes to abilities, so I'll be describing them.
Each staff has three abilities, which you can select by pressing Q or E [you'll know an ability is selected if the box is lighter than the others].

Ability1: Shield/Defense [Reload time 15 seconds]
Ice, Cold Circle: Eight hunks of ice form and start circling around your waist [think of an icy hula-hoop]. The hunks will disappear in 10 seconds. Pressing Z will allow you to throw your shield, which will deal 25-70 damage, depending on how long you had your shield out [+5 damage every second, up to 9 seconds]
Fire, Fire Wall: Unleashes a fire wall ring which goes out about 5 studs and will be put out in 10. You can walk through the ring if you made it. This is best used in a hallway if you're being chased, as it'll buy you some time. Contact with the fire deals 20 damage and will inflict burn for 5 seconds [Burn: 2 damage per second]
Water, Bubble: Surrounds you in a bubble. Unlike the other element's shields, this doesn't deal damage. However, it does negate all damage and allows you to jump twice as high...until it pops after 10 seconds. :C

Ability2: Ailment [Reload time 30 seconds]
Ice, Freeze/Frost Bite: Freezes opponent and gives them frostbite which, no pun intended, bites at 45% your health for 5 seconds. 9 damage per second. Can be removed if an ally uses Thaw [I'll get to that later]
Fire, Burn: I explained this in the last ability, but the burn lasts for 2 seconds and deals 25 damage. Can be prevented if an ally uses Splash [Like Thaw, I'll get to that later]
Water, Soak: This one is not only better for stalling, it's amusing to watch. Deals no damage, but will have foes constantly slipping for 15 seconds.

Ability3: Offense [Reload time 10 seconds]
Ice, Icicle: Yeah, it's kind of boring. However, I couldn't think of anything that wouldn't be similar to another staff's attack. I digress. Deals 10 damage, has a 20% chance to slow down and a 4% chance to freeze for 5 seconds. The freeze will do no damage, merely just stop your foe.
Fire, Fireball: Who didn't see that coming? Much like fireballs in Mario, it'll bounce on the ground. It'll bounce a max of 5 times, the 6th time it touches the ground it'll vanish. It does more damage the more it touches the ground [No bounce/5 damage, 1 bounce/10 damage, etc] but it gets smaller. 12% of burn.
Water, Whirlpool: Is it a tornado? Is it a whirlpool? Who knows. What is know is that you unleash whirlpools, which go about in random directions. When it manages to snag a foe it'll spin them around inside for 3 seconds, dealing a max of 30 damage. 16% for foe to be dizzy [flipped controls], 8% chance to soak.

Ability4: Assist [Reload time 5 seconds] This only works in team places. By that, I mean Red team, Blue team sort of stuff.
Ice, Thick Coat: Allies within 10 studs of you will gain a thick, fur-like coat which removes Soak. Water will do nothing to them, but fire will hurt 2x more. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Fire, Thaw: Thaws any frozen allies within 10 studs and can warm them up enough that they're immune to ice for a while. However, water is 2x more effective. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Water, Splash: Puts out any allies within 10 studs of you that are on fire. Make's them wet enough to be immune to fire but ice is 2x more effective. Lasts for, you guessed it, 20 seconds.

Let me know what you agree/disagree with and what should be changed.
Thank you and goodnight.

Wow, you really put lots of detail into these three gears.
Fortunately I read nearly all of it, and skimmed through the rest of it.

Whoops! Re-reading the post, I noticed an error. Earlier in the post, you can see that I said "each staff has three abilities," yet I put in four.
This is because I put in the Assist abilities during the ailment abilities, as I felt there would need to be balance.

That aside, thank you Zebra for the support.
When making the details of the staffs, I decided that they shouldn't just be weapons you can charge into battle to.
No, their purpose is to be more tactical. Plan ahead with the long reload times.
Examples: Use Icicle, get lucky enough to freeze opponent, switch to a different weapon to wail on them.
Use Fire Wall, switch to the Ghostfire Throwing Daggers. Someone's bound to get hit, and the GTD's "burn" helps out as well.
Use Soak, laugh at your opponent's misfortune as they slip off the edge.

It's not always about just charging in an winning with only one weapon. If you have other weapons, don't just let them sit there. Use them.

Also, here's some details I forgot to mention.
1. Shields will instantly be removed by the element it's weak to [Bubble will be removed by an Ice ability]. The shields will react with the different elements.
Cold Circle vs Fire: The hunks melt into nothing. It's the only one of the shields that could be qualified as "boring."
Fire Wall vs Water: You can put out pieces of the wall, not just all of it.
Bubble vs Ice: Bubble has the most reactions to ice, it depends on what happens. If Freeze/Frost Bite is used, the bubble is frozen. If Icicle is used, the bubble pops.
2. If you're holding out a staff, example: Water, and get hit by an attack from the element your staff is weak to, in this case: Ice, you'll take 2x the damage.
3. Following 2's logic, but being hit with the element your staff is strong to, you'll take 0.5x damage.
