Eh. Ubuntu seems like a Linux attempt to reach the average user, however I don't see it polished enough to compete against Chrome, for example.

@Belial52 I'd love it if Roblox gets ported to Linux distributions mainly because the chance of hardcore programmers joining the game and generating quality content. |

@Tenal
You don't have to be a hardcore programmer to use Linux. I use Fedora and I'm pretty sure that I'm not anywhere near being a hardcore programmer.

I suggest you download it as a torrent rather than on an Internet browser, since browsers tend to break large downloads.

But there are hardcore programmers in this world and most of them generally tend to use a Linux distribution and that usually isn't Ubuntu.

I'm pretty sure most 'hardcore programmers' aren't going to play a game centered around the 6-12 demographic.

Exactly, that's why Roblox should expand the target demographics. If Roblox thinks that kids from ages 6-12 are going to learn programming and generate high-quality content, they're dead wrong.

They say it's for 'all ages' but really it only appeals to kids, if a first glimpse at the front page (blow up spongebob, ride a cart down a toilet, call of duty tycoon..) means anything. Really, scripting would only be useful to a community where children under 13 were prohibited.
