The MacBook Pro, one of the MacBook line, was a Notebook developed by apple () In 2006. This notebook replaced the PowerBook 15" and the 17" inch versions. This notebook was the second computer from apple (First was the IMac) to feature the intel processor from apple`s intel switch. It was apple`s top of the line notebook in the MacBook series, witch featured 13", 15" and 17" screens. Still hot and selling, the MacBook Pro is currently in its 3rd generation witch, yes, is the MacBook Pro With Retina Display. The first notebooks were released in Jan. 2006 for the 15" model, and April 2006. These Notebooks were a huge leap from the Powerbook G4, and were like them except the new MacBook Pro featured a Intel Core Duo instead of the PowerPc G4 chip. Later in 2006, the Notebooks were updated with the new Intel Core 2 Duo processors. These notebooks had a Aluminum Alloy Casing, intel core duo processor (Later Core 2 Duo). The second model had a Core 2 Duo processor as well, but was made out of a single peace of aluminum, and also had FiberGlass on the sides of the screen, and were the new unibody models (Single Peace of aluminum). Apple, later in Jun. 2009, took the 13" MacBook and put the same great design into a 13" MacBook Pro. Therefore, the Macbook went back to the good old Polycharbinate, but later in 2010, a new design. The Following Jan. 2010, brought the 17" unibody MacBook Pro, and also made some technical upgrades, such as instead of the intel core 2 duo, they had intel`s new core i3 and i7 processors. The new MacBook with retina Display, replaced the 17" macbook Pro, and is just released recently, so its still got alot of life left in it. Im windowssonic, and thank you for looking at my post. |
