Im gonna get my own computer soon since both my brother and sister are moving out, plus my parents are going to pay off most of their bills soon AND we are moving into a cheaper house, so we will be saving a lot of money, and they said I could get my own computer.
So does anyone here know any good gaming computers under 500 dollars you can get at Walmart(My brother gets a discount since he works there) that plays games well? |

I know the correct specs for a good gaming computer.
It all depends on your budget and your daily usage. |

@Kon Well I use computers like all the time, and my budget would probably be at the most like 600 dollars. |

You won't get a great gaming computer just for $600.
If you want the best bang for your buck, get a laptop. But if you're planning to update constantly get a tower mainly because it's customizable.
If you are going to play those type of game, you have to mainly pay attention to the Video Card or GPU.
If it's Intel HD 3000 or any Intel video card, then it's complete crap. Shoot for Nvidia or Radeon.
If your into Nividia get Nividia GT 525m< (or a larger number). If your into Radeon, get Radeon 5570< (or a larger number).
Also at least have more than 2GB of ram. If you can, get an Intel Processor such as the i5 or i7, their structure is much better than Radeon's.
But if your heavy gamer like me, buy a tower with OKAY specs, and save up money to buy a new video card. |

definitely not anything marked with the word "game" or any variation because those things are just shoddy prebuilts with a higher price
try looking around the internets for a guide on building a pc if you can |

My laptop (which isn't for gaming, mainly for school, but has an OKAY video card) is:
Dell Inspiron 15R (N5110) w/ Intel HD 3000 Integraded and Nivdia GT 525m Dedicated.
The main problem with this laptop is that it's ventilation isn't good at all. It get's hot up to 90C sometimes. But you can counter act this with a cooling pad. |

You have to know in order to be aware of what your getting.
Just pay attention to the Video Card, MAKE SURE ITS NOT SOME INTEL CRAP. |

"Alienware"
No. When you buy Alienware, you're basically buying it for the brand name. It's overpriced, too. |
