| Ok so I don't know what I should use, a mechanical pencil or a wooden one? Is there really any difference to them while drawing? |

Not really... It's just that the wooden ones have darker lead and mechanicals break alot... |

i like mechanical pencils better
because in class everybodys like wtf when you go and try to sharpen them |

| mechanics are made from slender tubes of lead that dangle somewhat and are far more prone to breaking |

| The only disadvantage I see with mechanical is the shading. I don't know why but for me it seems to me like I can only go to a light shade then to a normal shade. |

| If you think mechanical pencils break often, get some mech pencils with 0.9 lead. Trust me, they rarely break. |
