| Roblox really just needed to add SOME shader into their rendering because things are just stale looking. And many shaders can help this without hogging resources... |

| ^^^ i love shaders, they make everything better... even in RL i like to think about why and how a certain object casts a shadow and what sources cause the vary levels of darkness (lol more of a long car ride thing). |

| Does a shadow really show absence? Perhaps it shows the existence of the object that the light is colliding with... |

| Light acts like a particle when it comes in contact with gravity. Say we have a massive source of light, but between the source and the camera we have a massive gravitational force pulling the light away. In this case we have a shadow without the light colliding with anything. |
