| Hello, I'm AmericanCapitalist, a person who used to be an extremely avid builder on Roblox. As a builder, I've noticed with all the new studio updates that it's becoming more and more challenging to make even the simplest of models, let alone full places. In fact, with the extreme difficulty of making things, I have no way to express my creativity and ideas via Roblox like I used to, which is the entire reason I even play this game. The problem is, we've lost true build. We've been losing it when "The essential three tools" (Grab, delete, copy) were taken out and replaced by a perplexing array of tools. Using 'Edit' mode in Studio is now the only way you can script, adjust properties, and insert your own models. I find this to be a problem. When your character is in the game, you don't have to adjust the camera angle all the time and you can test your game/model right there without having to re-open another window, fire everything up, and then go back and forth to make minor adjustments. If this persists, new members may be scared away from building on Roblox because of the sheer difficulty. So, as you can see, productivity will dramatically increase if we are given back the old Build mode. It would mean a whole lot to me as one of many proud builders of Roblox! -AmericanCapitalist |

I agree.
I build without all those lame stamper things. |

| I find building with the Studio to be much easier than building with the tools provided with "Build Mode". |

| I wonder how many people who posted a reply actually read past the first sentence. |

So you're saying you don't care about new users being overwhelmed with this level of difficulty? |

| New users dont know about the old part, and MOST of them just play games, not build. |

| Don't you want new people to build though? Here's what's interesting. 2.0 was created to make it harder for people to "copy" places and models. If it wasn't so hard to build, maybe there would be less "copiers". |

| By the way, if there are more people building, then we will get more (and better!) games and models. What's wrong with that? Why do we NEED to be challenged by the use of these complicated buttons that really nobody uses? |

| Please bring back the Roblox where everyone played games AND built. |

I completely agree. Something I hated was that now instead of taking just two minutes to load the place and have everything at your fingertips, it takes me ten minutes, since I have a slow computer, to do only a few things. I hated that they took studio mode away from the regular website version...

Yes, ROBLOX has lost the simplicity of it all. @Haters There's the door. |

| Thank you all for your support. On a related note, does anybody remember their old so-called "06er house" that stayed around for new users until a couple years ago. On my very first account I remembered thinking of myself as an engineer because I built a car that could turn. I then felt like an industrialist when I paid someone to make a logo for my car company. Roblox was like America back then. :) |

@American Not everyone likes America Shouldn't compare it to that xD But yes, edit is the only way to build now-a-days And is it just me, or do you guys get lag spikes literally every 3 seconds in edit mode? |

| I hated edit mode because I built things that had smart scripts that changed values upon action of the operator. I mainly stayed in Build mode and got made fun of, but only in Build could you test out products like that. |

One way to open studio in build is to...yeah, you can guess.
I might start working on a complex tool that will work sort of like studio (and when you activate it, will remove the "building" tools). But it's just an idea right now. How does that sound?

| @ihaveamac I was thinking of making a pad that you could step on and it would take away the ten crappy tools, and give you the only three tools a real builder needs. I say you go ahead with your idea, I will be a strong advocate. |

I'm saying like a gui with tools to select, move, resize, explorer, maybe properties, and an insert toolbox. Not an output (technically not possible yet).

| I would LOVE to use that GUI when engineering cars. Maybe we could work on it together and share ideas? |

Like I said, it's only an idea right now, but I'm going to attempt soon. Also, there may be some limitations, such as you can't edit script sources, but I'll think of workarounds.
