| You could do it more manually and bust the malware once and for all. |

Linux gets viruses as well. It's rare, but it happens. |

No
Linux doesn't get viruses
Unless you're trying to get a virus or you have an IQ of under 80, you're not going to get a virus. |

You're an idiot.
Linux does get viruses. Infact, I have some Linux Trojans in my 60GB stash of Malware here. |

@Sym
I didn't say that they don't exist
I'm just saying that you can only get them if you're a complete retard or are trying to get a virus |

@Silvu
Then the same could be said for Windows, then.
Also, I'll give one example of a virus on Linux simply because it was in my history and I don't feel like finding more.

I use Norton 360 on the highest settings and it barely slows me down.
If it slows you down it's your computer, moron. |

@Meldo
No
due to root pw's and other Linux security measures it's impossible for Ubuntu to be infected the way he said it was infected. |

@Meldo
look at it this way
even if it was downloaded to his computer through some web exploit with flash or whatever it would still need his root pw to do anything |

| I'm not going to attempt to argue with that as I am a complete newbie when it comes to Linux. But, nonetheless, unless you are an idiot or attempting to get infected on Windows, you aren't going to get infected. |
