*Raises hand* Granted, feature creep accounts for some of it, but I do have issues finishing any large project.
Tips? |

Yeah, same...
Sometimes I do, and it's great...
I have a lot of ideas as well. :/
Though, lately I just work on one project, then jump to another. Sometimes I stop when I cannot get past an error, and look at it later.

| Same, although my lack of creativity prevents me from thinking of that many games in the first place. :C |

I have a game that I can finish, but I don't really see any potential in it. It's basically a reinvented obstacle course that doesn't need to be completed in order. Not sure if I'm thinking too much inside the box. |

| I have to many ideas... i'll randomly start thinking about an issue with a game, then i think how i could make that game fun, then it begins to sound really fun, then i either begin this new project or think about the amount of effort the idea requires and dump it. Bigger (or even higher quality) games would be WAY easier if there was an easier way to collaborate.... :| |

| Personally, I find Meelo's law only applicable online. If the collaboration is IRL, I find it easy to collaborate. |

| yeah, the problem with any collaberation on roblox is a lack of communication. IRL that's not really a problem, but unfortunately i don't know anyone who plays this, especially of my age. |

| @MrgamesNwatch - I do know some people my age who play ROBLOX IRL, but none of them are skilled programmers or builders. |

| Gotta agree with that - collaborating online can be pretty hard. Especially since ROBLOX doesn't exactly focus much on collaborative tools (Multiplayer Studio NOW!) |

The way to succeed at making a game:
1. Come up with a BASIC idea. Like the shell of an idea; something that would take a player maybe 15 minutes to finish. 2. Set aside a large portion of time to do nothing but work on it. Find punishments if you get distracted. 3. Work on what you planned. Don't stray on some other tidbit until you finish the very base of the game. 4. When you've finished your 15 minute piece of trash game, update it relentlessly until it resembles a professionally made (not really) game 5. Advertise it into oblivion, invite friends, spam forums. 6. ??? (This is where people come) 7. Profit 8. Repeat 4-7 a bunch with slightly less profit margins each quarter based on the awful consumer market on Roblox.
I can't follow this advice; do it for me. |

@Noobs saying multiplayer studio
Hack the Roblox client to make server instances on Studio and then connect people with you. I don't see it being much more than work with RbxPri... |

It was actually one of the top ideas in ROBLOX UserVoice iirc
might be planned. |

| that'd be awesome. I know it's been suggested a number of times. Building would be quite fun to do collaberativly and i guess players could simultaneously work on different features and debug them together. |

I'm working on a stand alone RPG I might never finish.
So, my projects aren't just ROBLOX related.
I've even started a few websites in the past.

| I never have this problem. I rarely start working on a project unless I have thought about it for at least a couple of days or weeks. |

| Sure. I've probably started 5 times as many projects as I've "officially" finished. Most of the time it's just to do it, for the fun of doing it. |

| For example I'm thinking of recreating LEG Rock Raiders, mostly the AI system, but I don't see myself making a working game out of it, like I could. Just testing my skills and making the best AI I can compared to the original game. I'll probably never use it for anything. |
