As soon as I got to the beach-house, I got out my laptop and tested the internet speed. Better than my home speeds xD
What are your guys' speeds and what do you think the Roblox servers have speed wise?

Download: 10-20Mbps Upload: 0.5Mbps (QQ)
Roblox's servers probably have over 50Mbps upload speeds; download is probably a bit lower. |

I'm kind of dual PCing, creating a network from the wireless adapter in the PC hooked up to the modem so my laptop's internet speed is kind of slow atm.
Let me test from the main PC real quick. |

Aww, darn. Using Linux you can make your own router, it's fun.
The first thing I do after I connect to a wireless network is go to 192 . 168 . 1 .1, as well as port scan the entire thing and ping random IPs.
I ish childish IT :3 |

@Tech, Sounds like fun, but I wouldn't be able to install any version of Linux on my dad's pc.
My pc on the other hand, I am currently trying to, but last time I tried it just kept erroring... So, I'm gonna try when I get back to my mom's. |

@belial
Ubuntu has an installer that acts just like a Windows program; it doesn't partition your drive or anything of that nature. Uninstalling it also uninstalls Ubuntu. So in theory, if you have administrator rights and a compatible PC you should be able to install Linux.

Stuck with BT's ADSLMax technology (well, actually it's BT Wholesale's IPStream Max. BT retail don't offer IPStream Max Premium, only IPStream Max for some stupid reason despite the fact that Max Premium a BT Wholesale product) so 8128 kbps download sync, which is actually 7150 kbps throughput, and 448 kbps upload sync, which is ~350 kbps throughput. QQ
Considering moving to another provider that offers BTW's Max Premium for an additional monthly charge, despite the fact that its only tangible benefit is upload sync at 832 kbps as opposed to 448. As there are no independent providers with LLU I won't see any further improvements until the exchange gets an upgrade (which it won't).
Note that these speeds are kilobits per second as opposed to bytes. Dx |
