I'm starting in Android development and going through the Android Developers tutorials. I have a Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 and it has Android 2.3.5 . Whenever I try to use Eclipse to launch an application onto it, it say to no 2.3.3 Android device exists. I'm wondering if there is a way to fix this or if I'll need to downgrade the OS to 2.3.3...

Try upgrading your software rather than downgrading your hardware.

I'm not exactly sure how to upgrade it but I'll check.

@nickmaster It's all grouped into GINGERBREAD_MR1, so if you have the same kit to compile on 2.3.3+, it'll compile and run on 2.3.5. |

| I have a Galaxy Player 5.0! Anyway, don't downgrade; I think that voids your warranty. |

| I suggest you ask in xdadevelopers. Nobody in this forum would know how to answer. |
