>2 New Policies: New Unofficial Training Policy & cP Training Policy
Hello everyone. There are some upcoming changes regarding the Shock Troopers Academy coming soon and Academy-Commandant JuHDude is working hard on a guide to include all these changes. When the changes go through, STA trainees should read that thread thoroughly.
JuHDude’s guide will feature *everything* training related. So also for regular WIJ trainings. Rules, guidelines, training bases, everything.
Now there are two things that I find necessary to announce before JuHDude’s guide is released, and things that might be easily overlooked. These 2 policies will be active right away. Please read them thoroughly, both of them are important.
___ #1: New cP Training Policy ___ As you may know, one of the ways to get cP is to attend trainings. For some time I feel like cP has been given too easily, and that people simply get cP ‘for trying’. The thing about this is, that if you ‘try’ 50 times and get 1 cP ‘for trying’ each time, you can get an Officer test and become an Officer. I don’t find this thought very pleasing. So from this moment on, if it hasn’t been said before, you may only get cP in trainings for being one of the best. So say 3 or 4 people in a 14-men training get cP based on their performance. Not all of them.
__ #2: New Unofficial Training Policy ___ Lower ranks of WIJ are currently allowed to host their own unofficial trainings. You can currently announce it on the wall and possibly obtain cP from it if an Officer+ arrives. *This new policy is meant for those who host Unofficial Trainings. Read them thoroughly or you might have trouble in the future!
>The new requirement to host Unofficial Trainings is Corporal+. We believe that Corporals and higher are capable of doing so.
>Every time you announce an unofficial training you have to state your RANK and PURPOSE of the training. Commonly these unofficial trainings are posted on the wall, so be sure to include these details. If your announcement (wallpost) does not include these details, your wallpost will be removed by an Officer+. An unofficial training may *not* be advertised with ‘possible cP give-away’. An example for a correct unofficial training announcement: "[UNOFFICIAL TRAIN/CORPORAL] Guys I’m hosting an unofficial training at my outpost (link). We’re doing target practice and a raid simulation."
>If you are unable to host proper unofficial trainings (you are not an official trained trainer, so that may very much be possible), you might be asked to stop hosting them by an Officer+ (a trained trainer). If this is the case, do stop hosting them. If you continue hosting unofficial trainings, your announcement regarding them will be removed and if you continue even then you might be warned (cP loss or demotion even).
>When hosting an unofficial training we expect you to behave as any Officer+ trainer would. Any childish behavior coming from an unofficial trainer should be noted and forwarded to official trainers. If you continue acting immature or hosting inefficient trainers, as said before, we can take away your rights to host unofficial trainings. Unofficial trainings should be just like official trainings, they shouldn't be chaos.
>A popular thing is for unofficial trainings to become official, and for the best trainees to obtain cP. With this new policy, in order for an Officer+ to give cP, the Officer+ has had to be in the training for a *significant* time. So not just at the end of the training. The judgment of who to give cP to is the *Officer+’s* job, not the Unofficial Trainer’s! The Unofficial Trainer may give input on who was the best, but may not give the final judgment. Unofficial Trainers simply aren’t trained yet to be trainers, so even if they’re very good trainers, they’re in no position to do so.
>Officers+ who host OFFICIAL trainings may advertise them way more than UNOFFICIAL trainings. Official trainings are more important and useful than unofficial ones, so Officers+ may attract more attention from now on. And unofficial trainers should accept that.
____
Thanks for reading and have a good time in WIJ. Project BiB is nearing completion and I can't wait to release it. It should greatly boost activity, and with the new training base coming after it, official trainings should be way more common as well! Thanks again.

| Aye. So if an STA Trainer posts on the wall an STA training, should they post unofficial for non STA people? |

| Shock Trooper's are the most elite people of WIJ, it wont be good if only one person (The ST) gets cP. |

I thought BiB was already completed, and you were waiting to release it because of vacation. What happened there? |
