The year is 1945. The Iron curtain is falling across Eastern Europe. Western Europe is rebuilding with American Money. In Africa, the former colonies are taking the first steps away from there colonizers, and having to deal with the former master's choices. In Asia, the Chinese Civil war has resumed, with the Nationalists fighting the communists. In Korea, the peninsula is divided between Communist North and Capitalist South. America and the USSR are preparing to fight a cold war, that at any time could turn hot.
Rules- No uber/god-mod Scale your tech research rate, we have just got Jet engines and assault rifles, no lasers in 1950! If you aren't Switzerland, the US, in South America, or the USSR, your economy is going to be less than decent. Real nations only. When fighting, allow your opponent to react to your actions before posting more actions. Most nuclear weapons (there aren't many) are based off bombs. Missiles are barely developed now.
What bloc you are in matters. The NATO bloc has access to American Equipment, which is usually high quality, but higher in cost, and sometime unreliable. The Warsaw Pact has access to Soviet equipment, which is cheaper, but lower in quality, and somewhat unreliable.

(Rawr, I'll start it off, I guess.)
Due to current "peace", the country is calm. Most of the focus is on the current economy and if it can continue to prosper.
(First time doing a country RP, excuse me.) |

(So, what, do we control our own outcomes? Like: Lets say I am fighting a country whom is not controlled by anyone. Do we control the actions of what happens? Of course I'm not saying we always benefit from the outcome.)
The economy reserch continues, meanwhile, a focus on food happens. The focus on food soon generates the idea of getting more farms built and other ideas obviously. |
