| It's probably no different to them than batting practice. |

| Oh but it is totally different. It is only like batting practice if you don't make it past the 2nd round. |

Robinson Cano dislikes this thread.
He hit .309 with 13 home runs and 61 RBIs all after the All-Star Break. |

Giga, these are professional athletes who have been training in baseball longer than most of us have been alive.
I think they can handle a home run derby. |

Let me show you some stats of the HRs hit for the 2nd half for the players to win the HR derby; 2011: Robinson Cano: (1st: 15) (2nd: 13) 2010: David Ortiz: (1st: 18) (2nd: 14) 2009: Prince Fielder: (1st: 22) (2nd: 24) 2008: Justin Morneau (1st: 14) (2nd: 9) 2007: Vladimir Guerrero: (1st: 14) (2nd: 13)
The only player to hit more HRs the 2nd half than the 1st half was Prince Fielder in 2009. |

| Max, I am sure you are aware that there is less games played after the All-Star break than before it. |

Have you noticed that they're still really good stats...
If you double the 2nd half stat (pretty accurate)
You would still get close to the original total. |
