A few days ago I posted a thread regarding the new training place that will be made after BiB is released, because we need a new training place. I have a very good idea for how the place will work. It'll be innovative like holo trainings were back then. The thing Sinopia lacked however was the amount of maps. For this new training place I want to have as many maps as possible.
_____
Here are a couple of ones I especially liked in the suggestions thread:
-Flying-sphere target practice (various weapons, accuracy noted, player by player) -Fully working CTF game with fair spawns (choice to make it free-for-all or teambased) -A king of the hill-style game with one hill (choice to make it free-for-all or teambased) -A close quarters combat map with T11s (choice to make it free-for-all or teambased) -A VIP style game. Possibilities: Give the VIP a special trait (more health, better weapons). When you kill the VIP you become the VIP. First VIP of a game can be set by the trainer. -A quiz/multiple choice simulation where the trainer can add questions and answers and set the correct answer. Trainees can pick one answer. -A briefing room/classroom with decal-screen. An important aspect of battles is to approach them correctly, so strategies are important. Trainers can upload their own decals to the screen by entering the decal's ID. -Traditional sword fighting arenas (choice to make it free-for-all or teambased) -Traditional gun fighting in several maps with several weapons and ranges (choice to make it free-for-all or teambased) It's possible to make the game elimation-like or with spawns enabled. -Traditional raider/defender style gunfighting in several maps (choice to make it free-for-all or teambased) -Traditional obstacle courses with different difficulty levels that actually matter. Again, it's possible to disable spawns (1 try only). -1v1 gun fighting arena
-STA Trainers have the ability to make a server STA only for Tier trainings and T3 tests. -STs have the ability to make a server ST only for ST trainings
-Ability to submit user-made maps.
____
Hope you like the ideas. Oh and if you have an idea that wasn't mentioned here and you think is really good, post it here.
Thanks!

Maybe this sounds a little odd but simulations of SF against a bot? Like easy ones to hard ones for different players?
So they can basically SF a model that is made to be a realistic sword fighter

Yeah, the important aspect here is to make trainings more enjoyable for both trainers and trainees. That way we also get more trainings a day.

I wish Vehicles could be included, but like you said they'd need to be rescripted.
How about some form of G25 target practise, where there's like, a variety of different holes in the ground and you have to shoot it. It wouldn't explode, so it'd be safe. I wouldn't mind seeing that at all. c: |

I am still unsure about the classroom with a decal board idea. I mean, it is a good idea and all but all of our trainers have different strategies and tactics in mind. I fear that it may cause some confusion among the trainees. For example: one trainer talks about a tactic to a trainee and the next day a different trainer use a tactic that contradicts the lecture that the trainee has learned from yesterday.

@cash
You may be right, but something that has to be kept in mind is that the trainee can interpret the information the trainer gives in any way.
It's pretty subjective. It's not "HOW YOU SHOULD DEFEND" but "HOW YOU COULD DEFEND AND WHY IT'S PROBABLY A GOOD IDEA TO DO IT THIS WAY".

Lets hope none of trainers force their thoughts down a trainee's throat.

Another idea is that we could have a huge raiding map where one team has SUF's and the other B55's. (Weapons can be decided) but the point of this simulation is to learn how to deal with snipers and how to use it as a advantage.

Maybe a trench battle? Like urbanfight, but there would be three levels. There would be the trenches, sort of like below-groud. Then above the trenches could just be the average urbanfight cover and terrain. Finally, on the third level, there would be a network of bridges. This way soldiers would have to learn to fight on three levels, and on three fronts, and still be able to locate enemies. It would help with battlefield awareness, and the ability to adapt to the situation, seing as how when you are fighting on three different levels, there are so many different tactical possibilities, so both teams could not count on anything, and will have to adapt to win.

One thing: Bring the WIJ Training Bots program back because there's not much raids unless the program organizes events within the raids of WIJ; We can raid WIJ (Since I'm an official bot, named MU) and we also should work on training our troops outside of an actual training session; if officers are busy then the bots will be asked to go to Indigo, Cerulean, Cobalt, or Vermillion (JuHdude should be in the training bot program as the leader; when he thinks not enough sessions are going on then he'll announce on the bot group to commence raiding)

Considering what I know about scripting and what Sinopia already has, all of this actually seems pretty easy to implement so if you ask me it shouldn't take too long. Well, that's my opinion anyways.
