| So would MouseButton1Down, if assigned to a brick, would activate a function if somebody clicked on the brick? |

you only use MouseButton1Down in a tool or hopperbin, if you wanted to click on a brick and make it do something, you'd have to put a clickdetector in it and use this: script.Parent.ClickDetector.MouseClick:connect(function(player) with player being the one that clicked it |

What's the difference between MouseButton1Down and MouseButton1Click? I see no difference.

MouseButton1Down == While the left mouse is in "Down state". MouseButton1Click == When clicked on with the left mouse.
I'm not sure what the exact terminology is. |
