No, they will be forced to start Orton after Romo injures his very small hands against the Giants the first week of the season. The Cowboys will then go 7-9, not good enough to make the playoffs, and even worse not a good spot in the draft.
And repeat this with new quarterbacks over the decade. |

| The Ravens have already won the Super Bowl. Look up 2000. One of the most inspirational seasons in NFL history. |

The next two years might be the last chance for that glamorous prize called the Super Bowl. Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and T-Tizzle aren't the youngest crew in the NFL, but if any team that can win it with this type of age, it would be the Baltimore Ravens. Even with Ray Lewis's aging, he is still a top-5 middle linebacker, along with Ed Reed still being arguably the best safety in the league. Suggs might miss most of the season, but I am quite sure that Courtney Upshaw will heal the Raven's wounds if he plays well.
On the offence... There has been countless times when Flacco puts his own defense in terrible situations. Several interceptions when in their own zone throughout the season. Flacco will be the reason if the Ravens win the Superbowl. The defense will do their part, guaranteed. Flacco needs to up his standards away from being an average quarterback with a rocket arm, to a good quarterback. |

Panthers? Playoffs?
Not this season. The Panthers defense is still weak even with Beason coming back. As well as the pass rush needs to up it's game. Cam Newton turned a 2-14 team into a 6-10 team. 4 wins is a good gain, but he can work on his decision making down the field. He had one of the highest interception totals in the NFL. |

| i think it's pretty much consensus that the packers will win the NFC north, and it's pretty much consensus that one of the wild cards will be from the NFC north. who gets it, the lions or the bears? or both? |

I believe that the Bears have the better team to make the playoffs this year. On offence they are set with skill players like Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, along with the running back that never spots complaining Matt Forte. Jay Cutler, believe it is a good quarterback. On defense the Bears are probably the most consistent defense of the past decade, don't expect much less nor much more.
The reason why I believe the Lions won't make the playoffs is the injury prone Matt Stafford is still taking snaps for the Detroit Lions. I know, he started in every single game for the Lions last season, but that was his first time even starting ten games in his whole career.
Basically I am making my prediction on injuries. |

| but the bears are also very injury prone. that's why the lions made the playoffs. cutler, knox and forte were all injured last year |

That is true, but that was their first season of real injuries on offence.
That was Cutler's first injury that he missed multiple games for. Same for Matt Forte. |

| I am pretty sure Marino can still toss the pigskin. The Dolphins should give him a call. |
