Hello spec of life known as Jessi Ray! As guessed your typical elven life style has you currently in a forest-land inn. With nothing more then two rusty daggers, a flimsy bow, six stone arrows, a half a gallon of water, loaf of stale bread, and one hundred coins you are expected to live through this world.
*mumble* What a long shot..
Sitting at the darkest and most thugish looking table in the corner of the inn's tavern, you are simply well.. sitting.
What will you do now.. elf? |

Watching over you start to inspect.
An older man is in the oppiosite corner of the room, pratically wearing rags. Four magnificent shining blue robed figures sit in the center, laughing and drinking up guessed expensive ale. A younger woman sits on the oppiosite side, wearing a feathered hat and bearing a lute on her back.. obviously a bard.
What a wide variety of lifely people, eh Jessi? |

| Yes, this bar seems to attract all kinds of folk. I keep an eye on the bard though, maybe she'll leave soon, and I can jump in and well, make some coin. |

(Okay, this is a small dice roll though it will have a decently important outcome. d20, ready.)
Result: 12/20 You continue to inspect her and notice a small coin purse tied to her belt. She seems to notice you looking at her though doesn't seem to think of you as a threat.
Could be a long wait.. though how senseless can people really be? |

She stands up, walking over to the bar counter an ordering a pricey mead.
Ouch. That must have hurt.
After recieving it, she takes a gulp, wraps it in cloth, puts it away, and heads for the door.
Damn citizens don't know that they're supposed to spend as least money as possible before they get mugged. |

Almost too hurried... |

When turning for cover, you quickly look around.
Two men dressed in near identical clothing to the women, one bearing a two handed battle ax the other a longsword.
For crying out loud, where does a bard get this kind of weaponry?
Diving forward, you slide behind the relatively large sign for the inn.
Could ends all ready be meeting? Ohoho, death just makes me have even more of a thrill! |

(d12 based on stealth.)
Result: 11/12.
Successfully stealthy get away. Though there seems nothing to get away from..
"Nekata, you said there was a possible bandit eyeing you?" This came from one of the men, most likely the two hander.
"I'm sure of it.. she may still be in there though." "I think you're being too paranoid.. are we going to leave or stay for the night?" "Well.. do you think the cart would be safe?" "Possibly.. maybe someone should stand guard. Shifts maybe?" "I'll take first one." said one of the men.
The other two stepped back in and the sound of footsteps walking away was heard. |

So much for a suprise attack.. |
