x = y x^2 = xy x^2-y^2 = xy-y^2 (x+y)(x-y) = y(x-y) x+y = y 2y = y 2 = 1 1 = 0
Now since 2+2 = 2+2+0 Now let's apply the Lemma proof so that 0 = 1, 2+2+0 = 2+2+1 =5 |

ACTUALLY I HAVE FOUND A MATHEMATICAL IMPOSSIBILITY IN YOUR PROOF
In the part that goes from: (x+y)(x-y) = y(x-y) to x+y = y+1
To do that, you divide both sides by (x-y). But since x=y, the (x-y)=0.
You cannot divide by 0.

or you could do this: 2 beside 2: 22 V= 22nd letter of alphabet V= roman numeral for 5 therefore, 2+2=5 |

You said 2+2=5
You then turned around and said 2+2+1=5. You added the 1 on. Your arguement is invalid |

Guys did you not see what I said.
His proof is invalid because in his proof, he divides by 0 to get to a next step.
You canNOT divide by 0.
Thus, his proof is invalid.
