Joe Montana was more clutch than Tebow will ever be.
5 Super Bowls out of 5. Who could be more clutch?

Well, four. My bad.
But still. He had an 100% winning percentage in the Super Bowl.

I corrected myself Donny.
You get the point though.
Tebow will never go 83/122 (68% completion), 1,142 yards, 11 TDs, and 0 INTs in his Super Bowl career. Heck, he can't even get 50% accuracy in most games.

And that's implying Tebow will ever make the Super Bowl.
The thought of that is laughable.

@Spicy: He only did good in some of those games in 2011 anyway. And he struggled in the games that would've assured a playoff spot.
The Broncos only made the playoffs because of the Raiders, and the fact the AFC West was the weakest division that year.

he only choked against the 49ers when they got blown out by 40, so obviously he wouldn't have won that game probably
>the drive >browns win toss, score td. broncos don't get on field in ot >kicker misses fg to lose >broncos defense was terrible, so elway took some long shots in super bowl xxii

he also: * turned a 1-4 team into an 8-8 team * won a playoff game against the #1 defence * torched the #1 defence

@paco >against the browns please don't talk about john elway's "clutch" gene anymore
and it's also worth noting that the year before winning the super bowl, elway choked at home against the jags, who were only in year 2 of existance when terrell davis showed up, the broncos won super bowls john elway was hurt for 6 games in 1998, and replaced by a guy named bubby. the broncos won all 6 games. |

Tato, he was TERRIBLE against the Pats (31st place D), the Bills (26th place D), and the Chiefs (11th).
Tiebreakers are the only reason why the Broncos even played that wild card game.

And three of those four came in the last three weeks, in three games. Two of those were against bottom 10 defences.
And some of those games would of been lost if he didn't have a decent defence with him.
His defence made sure in the wins that the Broncos would stay in it so that he could comeback.
Even if it was 20th ranked, it was because of games like the Buffalo and New England games.

| John Elway has an under .500 super bowl record and regularly choked in postseason games, how dare you guys say he is clutch. |

Zammy you have a terrible use of stats.
Both the Patriots and the Bills had over 20 or more interceptions last season. The 31st ranked defense is inaccurate as they had the 31st ranked passing defense. Using points allowed per game they were average. A typical bend but don't break defense.
The Bills are the team that has the bad defense, but Buffalo have sudden surges of interceptions, against Brady and Tebow are the most noticeable.
Also the Chiefs defense is elite, Brandon Flowers is probably the most underrated corner in the league. |
