| It was one of the more decent remakes in my opinion. I would happily go and see a sequel, but a sequel to the original series w/ Robert Englund wouldn't be so bad either. |

I didn't like the remake very much. Especially how the characters were changed. Bay ruined Nancy |

Katie Cassidy was exceptionally good in the film, but the rest of the cast let it down.
Freddy was great though. |

| I just hated how Nancy was transformed from the strong hero who was independent and not cliche at all to this weak cliche. |

Oh, yeah.
She was annoying, and her friends had probably gone through MUCH more than her while the original Nancy was sweet and caring and had to envolve into a survivor.
But for what it was worth I liked it. |
