| Now, they sell vinyl. At first glance, it's actually kinda nice. However, most of what they had were classic rock and 80's throwaway pop. There were some rap/hip-hop albums I would have liked to have, but they were too expensive for me. (I had about 20 bucks to spend). The only other band that I saw that I liked there were Scorpions. So I got Animal Magnetism, Love At First Sting, World Wide Live, and Savage Amusement for 21 bucks total. So yeah, sadly, a kinda crappy store. That, and it's supposed to open at 5, but the guy who works there didn't show up until about 5:30. |

The only record store close to my house that I know of it one that's 30 mintues away from ym house in a farmer's market/flea market.
However, it's pretty well-stocked. They have all of Metallica's albums, most of Megadeth's, some of Slayer's, a few Anthrax albums, some Motley Crue, a few Exodus, a few Testament, a lot of Iron Maiden, etc.

The only CD shop we have has about 3 CDs, all pop, and loads of "second hand" (broken) vinyls. It's a two-hour walk to the nearest city and even then they've only got an HMV, which is unspeakably bad. I have to order everything from the internet. Postage and packaging's too expensive. :( |

I'd rather have a suckish record store than none at all. But I don't even have one.
Luckily, my dad has a bunch of old "singles" records. They have a name, but I'm blanking. He has all the old Beatles singles, some Beach Boys, and one metal one. It's something popular, but again, I'm blanking.
He would have had a million records but they burned in a fire. |
