AMD's Windows 8 drivers aren't working for games, and I can get my entire Steam library working on Linux with WINE.
18th poster decides which distro I use.
It can't be Ubuntu or be based on Ubuntu. |

@James
Go away
We all know that Linux is superior to Windows for everything except gaming. |

@Super
Fedora is my personal favorite.
But I like trying new things.
And other distros can have the Gnome 3 desktop too.
Distros are coded separately from the graphical part. |

My computer died shortly after putting Ubuntu Oneiric Ostracizing Ocelot on it, and then removing it due to a "proprietary driver".
Not getting any Linux distro, not even the new Precisely Phailing Pangolin. |

I have tried multiple Linux systems and none of them can run Google Chrome. |

Ubuntu sucks
Not all Linux distros are like Ubuntu
@n00b
Google offers .Rpm and .Deb chrome installers, so they should work on most Linux distros unless you're using some really obscure distro. |

What's a half-decent Linux OS? |

@James
I really like Fedora.
OpenSUSE is cool too.
And Bodhi is nice if you can appreciate the minimalism.
Fuduntu is cool since it still uses Gnome 2.
Mandriva is pretty cool too.
There are lots of good distros.
Just go on Distrowatch and find a distro that interests you.
I highly recommend Fedora. |

@Mine
No.
Your post doesn't count.
I want something new and I've already used both of those.
Notice that I'm going back to Linux.
I'm not new to it. |
