Ciao, Pinky! Mi chimao Jimmy. Bene, e lei? I am also learning Italian. They don't offer it at my school, so I'm learning it all on my own. |

I'm also using Rosetta Stone at my school. It's hard to learn Italian grammar on it, though.

I'm using YouTube videos and Google. My mom won't buy me Rosetta Stone, so that's the only option.

Rosetta stone is expensive when there's tutorials that are free that are probably just as good, or maybe better.

The school offers it. :) It works, but it is really bad at teaching grammar. I suggest Rosetta Stone, but use something else for grammar... Or at least until you get to a very high level in it. It is very easy the first level. I was always the highest in the class, and the farthest. Rosetta Stone is easy, but grammar is just too difficult to pick up, at least for me.

Well my school offers Spanish, French, German, and Russian. I dunno why they offer Russian because only 10 kids take it. I take French, but after I'm fluent in French I want to greater my Italian. (:

Jimmy, the reason people aren't taking that class is because they're afraid of the Russian language. Well, it's a different alphabet and it's slavic, barely any relation to English. Even though Russian has more native speakers than French, Italian, or German.

The class. In our school, you're required to take 2 years of the same language so people just get put in Spanish.

That's weird. I thought you would have a choice every year exactly what classes you get?

We do, but people in my school don't care about their education so they just put random stuff down or don't take the classes they have to.

We get a 5 page packet full of nonsense, then we this paper with a bunch of classes on it. The class choices suck and we need 7.0 credits to fill. Then we just fill in classes. Some classes are pre-filled by the guidance counselor if you have to take that class the next school year.
