| A petition is logical. SOPA and PIPA were logical. This is not, this idea is dumb. |

| What were parents complaining about? No support. Sorry it is just I havent really come across that problem. Just archive important messages and leave others in the sea of spam. |

@Valu HUNDREDS of parents were complaining. It isn't about how many people, it is about sucsessfullness, reason, and pros and cons. The cons are greater than than the pros, so they took it out. |

| @Valu I do not know for a fact WHY they complained, but I think it was due to their children deleting messages before they could check on them. |

| That is a very bad reason...If your child is beginning to delete their friends messages, mainly means they aren't very good friends with them. *Parent walks in on kid deleting spam. Parent starts over-reacting, thinking that their kid hates people.* I bet 3/4 of those parents had reasons like that to complain. |

@Piggles It is a good reason. Parents want to know if their child is seeing inapropiate messages. |

@Shrimp He is wrong. ROBLOX doesn't remove things for dumb reasons, or no reason. |

Ok you wanna know why parents complained about it? They wanted to know their kids weren't doing anything illegal/innapropriate on Roblox which is where child predators may concern parents if there's a delete button. Say their kid was talking to one on Roblox and the kid dissapears the next day or something they would wanna know who he/she was talking to and if they know who then they can hopefully track the predator down and save the kid. ~Case Closed no delete button will be added.~ |

| How would the innapropriate messages get through? Parents could have simply requested that admins(or a program) looks through the message for innapropriate words, before they get to their children. That way the children would have never saw that message in the first place. |

| Same with strange men asking where children live. Why solve something that happened, rather then stopping the problem before it began |
