.....

.....

Generaly, when people come at you with rockets and Assault weapons, you don't generaly worry about their religion....

Might I also add that there are plenty of Muslims who live under Israeli rule. Granted, it doesn't seem to be the general party line, but, there you go.

You can quit baiting me on this, Skyasunder, you won't get the reaction you want.

I'm just impressed that they finally elected someone... As in, had an election in the first place.

Good for them for crossing the line into democracy.

Seeing as the Muslim Brotherhood has continually proven itself to be rather "Unfriendly" neighbors, to put it mildly, there is reason to worry... You can tell a lot about a person by who they affiliate themselves with.

"Hey, maybe if we all burn Qu'rans, we could make the situation better."

You know, when that pastor suggested the idea of doing this, he got death threats. Honestly, I couldn't care less about burned books. If someone is going to get that outraged about some books half a world away, that just goes to show what kind of people we are dealing with.

And, actualy, from what I have read, the military itself is not terribly intrested in an Islamic Government... We live in interesting times.

I would imagine there are some certain regions of the United States that would be a bit upset if a bunch of Jews or Muslims were to start publicly burning bibles. You may not care about burned books; I certainly don't care, but there are those who evidently regard their holy texts as actually holy.

@jbg23 Upset? Sure... Death threats? Now, that seems rather off the wall to me... When someone is mad enough to go far enough to threaten the life of someone who simply suggested burning a copy or two of a WIDLY circulated holy book seems irrational to me... I guess it makes sense to someone, but, I don't see it.

Because burning someone else's Holy Books is ok right? Maybe you guys don't care about religion, but in the Middle East and South East Asia, religion is a very important part of life.

You're defiling the basis of their religion which is probably the most important thing in their lives right now and basically spitting in their face. Then you expect them to be OK with it?

If a Imam burnt a Bible there would be global outrage.
