I'm learning Go, yeah.
It's been pretty successful so far, but I've only run programs on Go playground and ideone.
I installed Go today, but whenever I try to run a .Go file, a sort of command prompt interface just pops up and then disappears :(
Basically, how u run a .Go file? I've got Go where it's reccomended, C:\Go.
I've tried dragging and dropping a .Go file over Go\bin\go but that just does that flashy thing.
y it so complicated? i dun get dis *~* |

you probably don't understand how languages work outside of scripting?
it executes the program almost instantly, and since it has nothing to do, it closes.
Ask it to wait for user input or something. |

Yes, well, at least, I think so, but I'm not sure how.
Besides, if I write a program in Go, why would I want to run it from a command in the command prompt every time? |

@Emess
Microsoft has released nearly everything in technology before Apple, only it doesn't get the same hype because Apple is like the jaredvaldez of real life: taking ideas from others, copying them exactly, and using shady marketing to sell an identical product.
Take iPad for example; Microsoft released a tablet in 2004. No one cared. Apple released it and everyone spent 8000 dollars to get it. It's simply marketing (which can usually be pretty underhanded on Apple's side) |

| If you wanna make websites with it use App Engine, else stay with the command line. Pretty soon Go will probably get some GUI bindings which will be nice. |

Microsoft>Apple If Microsoft hadn't made DOS then Apple probably wouldn't even exist. |

Lol. You would be my disturbing friend IRL. But you think Apple is better than Microsoft. Shame. +1 wasted life |
