I really wanted to stay up longer to at least experience a hallucination, even if it's the most traumatic thing I'll ever be in. But blacking out while learning backwards on a chair with wheels isn't a good thing to do either.

What do you think I should do?

Awesome feeling huh? :D You couldn't die from it. The record is like over 11 days or something like that.

The record INTENTIONALLY is 11 days.

The actually record is by Michael Corke who was diagnosed with FFI, Fatal Familial Insomnia. Basically, he physically couldn't go to sleep and was rushed to the emergency room. They tried using sedatives, but it apparently made it worse - his brain just wasn't shutting down.

He ended up dying 6 months later, and the entire time he didn't sleep even once.

Although that's only possible with FFI, normal people will die in 2 weeks. And FFI is like cancer, you have on average 18 more months to live once diagnosed.
