In the year 2628, a research station based in the Blue Arma system, known as Armathas 12, released all escape pods. Its scientists and crew returned to Earth. Strangely, none were ever heard from again. They had been placed in a government funded 'witness protection program' - though not for such good reasons as the usual witness protection scheme is intended for.
Whilst Armathas 12 had publicly claimed to be working on vaccines and space life research, it had in fact been tasked with producing weaponised viruses. Unlike modern bioweapons, these were not designed to have a direct effect. They are known as 'mutagenic' viruses, because of their effect on a carrier. For simplicity, the scientists originally based their work on mythical creatures like werewolves and vampires, though various other weaponised creatures came later.
The station was evacuated following the test subjects' revolt, and despite the station having a full compliment of security, the test subjects had used their given abilities to hold them off until they secured the storage bays. Here, they plundered weapons and supplies, and rioted across the station.
When the order came from the station authority to abandon Armathas 12, to prevent the test subjects' escape the reactor was rigged to remain in a super-critical state - slowly increasing its output until it either melted down or failed. Either would be lethal. The test subjects retreated to the safest place on board: cryogenics. However, the rig failed and the reactor returned to critical output.
23 years later, 2641. The reactor is running out of fuel. Without maintainance, other systems are failing too, including the backup generators and several cryogenic suspension units. With the impending power failure, the station's automated systems began the thawing process for the remaining cryogenics occupants.
The Terran Government believes the Armathas 12 test subjects are dead. But when they return, it will do everything in its power to prevent the Armathas conspiracy becoming public knowledge. Such a betrayal of public trust could see its end. In its efforts to kill the test subjects, not even collateral damage will faze it. After all, more horrific things happened back on Armathas.
============== NOTES ============== -Your character can be human, alien, werewolf [either transformative or defective], vampire or pretty much any kind of anthropomorph that can be weaponised. Bonus points if you can come up with something imaginative, or omething I haven't mentioned. -You need to be accepted by myself, an admin [if I choose one/some] or by general concensus [75% of RPers agree you should be accepted.] General concensus only applies if I/admins are not responding/not available. -I'll dictate the plotline, but your character doesn't have to follow mine. They could take a shuttle and bother some Space Traffic Police if they wanted to. -Aliens can be affected by the GM viruses too. If your character was an alien but was tested on, put it in your bio.
============== CHARACTER SHEET ============== NAME: A-GE: GENDER: SPECIES: [Human? Alien? A tested subject? Put it here.] APPEARENCE: CLOTHING: WEAPONS: [Can be futuristic, can be contemporary. Should not be overpowered.] ITEMS: BIO: SUBJECT SERIAL NUMBER: [XXXX-XXXXXX] OTHER:
EXAMPLE: ====== NAME: Sara Rockwell A-GE: 26 (Ignoring time in suspension) GENDER: Female APPEARENCE: http://www.roblox.com/Sara-Rockwell-item?id=84404190 CLOTHING: (See Appearence) WEAPONS: D7 Compact Ion pistol, M48-LA Taser ITEMS: PDA, comm's handset, comm's earpiece, hologram emitter, D7C focusing unit, shuttle ignition keys. BIO: Sara is a passenger shuttle pilot, working for Veto Aerospace Spacelines Division. She has a lot of experience at flying, and has basic weapons training with pistols and small rifles, though she has never used one on a person. VASD has never sent a shuttle to Armathas 12 before, so she had hoped to make a good impression. Armathas certainly made an impression on her. Sara considered signing up for the military, but she realised it was just the procedure that interested her. VASD would offer that without the being shot at, and with a good salary too. SUBJECT SERIAL NUMBER: 1047-127344 OTHER: The GM virus batch which was used on Sara was defective. This meant that her transformation into a werewolf was instantaneous and permenant.
(You don't need to draw your character, just say what they look like. Like on most RPs.) |

Sara felt cold. For a moment, that was all she was thinking. Thermoception. Coldness. Then a self-aware thought. I am cold. This was followed by 'why am I cold?', and the cliched but relavent 'am I dead?'. And then her eyes opened. Almost falling over, she stumbled from the suspension unit. Reaching the other side of the corridor, she tried to steady herself, but collapsed to the floor. "Urrgghhh..." she groaned. So heavy. Gently, she lifted her head, and scanned the room. It was dark, but her night vision was good. Around her were more suspension units. The doors were open, and little squares of cyan shone contently from beside most of the cabinets. Some were emitting a constant bleep. Those ones did not have their doors open. |

| (I've never done a forum role-play before. I wish it was in-game. This idea seems a bit boring. No offence. It's very creative but, I think we should have it in-game. Maybe the storyline and what's going on in the forum and the RP in-game. You don't have to change it because this is your role-play. I'm just saying. If you want to do my idea, feel free to ask me to make the place. I would gladly do it.) |

(That's what I said. Ok, I'll put a post up so we can get back to RPing.
OOC is allowed, but as I said, keep questions to PMs. The exception is if you post an RP paragraph with it.)
More people were falling out of the suspension units. Sara guessed that normally there would be people to help them get out. That thought stuck for a moment. Where were the station's crew? Last she remembered, the security personell had beaten them back to cryogenics. Only the blast door had prevented them being killed, and that was locked only by electromagnets. Security could easily have shut down power to that section and the locks would fail. So would any cryogenic suspension units in use. Killing two birds with one stone.
So why were they alone? |

He then wakes up in a lab to find himself alive again. Alive! Only he is not what he used to be. He is light green and is slimy. Argon. He is part of them now. The Argon are a unknown race that takes dead humans and turns them into creatures. He gets up and starts looking around the strange ship he found himself upon. Where is everyone?
Is anyone here? |

(Roblox234, now imagine that its a triceratops that could happily walk around a human-built spacestation without bashing its head, and you're accepted. Nice imagination. Though its still not the most dangerous creature on board [in another timeline]
Not sure where you're going with that, Lego, but I'm sure it'll be interesting.)
Sara forced herself upright, pushing her paws against the wall for stabilisation. Breathing heavily, she turned toward the exit - at the end of the hallway of cryogenics units was a corner. And around it was the bulkhead. She headed towards it, still leaning against the wall. |

Aulus finds a shower and washes the slimy green stuff off of his body. He looks exactly the same as he used to, only very pale. He needs to get back to where he came from. He searches the ship only to find doors leading to empty rooms. But, he stumbles across what seems to be the bridge. He walks in and finds the wheel. Before he flys this ship, he better learn how to pilot it.
He finds a book after hours of searching and reads how to fly the craft. He then turns the engines on, egnites the rockets, and puts it into full throttle. He sees lights in the distance and steers toward it. All seems well.
Until something pushes him to the ground. |

| After much stumbling and faffing about against the wall, Sara reached the corner. She felt that her balance had partly returned. Since she couldn't lean on a corner, she tried standing properly whilst using her paws against the wall to prevent herself falling over. Inching slowly around the corner, Sara found the bulkhead. As expected, it was closed. The manual lock was engaged from the inside. Reaching across, Sara pushed the handle up, before tapping the command to open into the door control panel. The bulkhead split in two, one half being sucked into the cieling, the other being pulled into the floor. Once it was open, Sara staggered through the aperture. |

| Getting up, Aulus finds himself face-to-face with a Cygroiaoion. Aulus wacks the alien with his handgun then shoots a plasma ray at it. It dissapears. That was easy, but he knows there is more to come. He closes the bridge's door and locks it. He is very near to the light now. But he can still not make it out. What could this strange light possibly be? |

Stumbling over to the other side of the corridor, Sara noticed some light glinting off something rectangular. She headed towards it, and found a window. It was reinforced glass. Behind it, a section of the space station could be seen, just a little lighter than the space behind it. Tiny points of light denoted other windows like the one she was looking through. To the left, a large communications and solar array were built out on scaffolding, though the solar panels were pitted and covered in grime.
To her right, she could see the noses and tails of several spacraft, though the rest was hidden. So, spacecraft docking was somewhere to her right. Good to know. She also noticed that the dock's light beacons were online. That included a green and red light to denote the port and starboard of the entrance, and a more powerful white light, that was flashing so rapidly that it almost seemed to be permenantly on. The flashing was so that computers could recognise the station from the timing of the on/off sequence. |

Flying now with several other spacecraft, Aulus saw what he was aiming at. He started to head towards the port, where red and green lights flashed. He looked at the windows near the port and saw what looked to be a werewolf.
Good to know there are deadly animals that most likely eat humans onboard the only ship in miles... Aulus though.
He began to slow down the space craft and unegnited the rockets. He was slowing to a hault and was about to dock. |

| "Ok, not alone..." muttered Sara, upon seeing a spacraft drift into the docks. Leaving the other test subjects back in the cryogenics bay, she headed slowly toward the docks. She had regained some more balance now, but walking was still difficult. Especially on digitigrade legs. She sighed, and kept going. |

(03:11 AM. I've got to go to sleep now. I'll have my character do likewise.)
Suddenly, Sara felt extremely tired. Cryogenic suspension wasn't restful, and extended periods of it could result in malnutrition, weight loss and various similar problems. All of this culminating to mean Sara needed some sleep. She collapsed unceremoniously onto the hard linoleum floor, curled into a foetal position with her tail between her legs, before drifting into a deep snooze. |

| Armathas 12 is what the sign on the wall of the port read. Aulus checked the clock inside the spacecraft. It was late and he needed some rest. He landed safely on the platform and turned the ship off. He double-checked to make sure the bridge door was locked, as he didn't want any more unwanted visitors. He then walked to a nearby couch and laid down, falling asleep immediately. |
