[Yes, I realize I have posted this before, but I've completely revamped the concept.]
I had this idea for a post-apocalpse style roleplay, but after thinking about it, decided to scrip it to make something different: a post-apocalpyse horror game.
What is it? Well, it basically is your average zombie shooter, with a more realistic apocalypse setting. It'd be huge, open world, so you can expect to do a lot of exploration. You'd have a low amount of health, hunger/thrist levels, and low walkspeed, depending on your stats. By that, I mean, if you had full stats, but never ate, within a set amount of time, you start getting hungry. You lost a little amount of health, but not much. However, when your hunger/thirst level depletes, your walkspeed lowers until you are completely "empty". By that, of course, I mean hungry/thirsty. Then you start losing health, and you can't walk.
Gameplay? Survive is the basic goal of the game. Attempt to survive in an almost foriegn, destroyed world. There would be different kinds of weapons, depending on where you are. You'd start out with nothing. You can only carry three weapons. Guns are only available if found.
Quests? The game itself is a quest: survive. However, I plan on adding side quests that will reward you with a currency "trust". Trust is the best way to get weaponry. If you have a high trust level[let's say, 15 tP(trust Points)?] then you are more likely to get weapons. This would work like this. You complete a quest, get 2 tP. You visit a military armory. You ask for a weapon. The script checks your trust level. Since you have "2 tP" you are given a hammer instead of a piece of rusted metal.
Enemies? Of course, there are enemies! The main enemies are mutants, although you will have occasional snipers protecting areas. Meaning you can't access it. I'm working on getting an AI system that I find useful, but the AI system will[hopefully] be good.
Money? Though there will be no direct form of money, there will be trust points. Now, just to get weapons is boring, right? Well, this is just a concept, but the idea for this turst system is an "exchange" program. Players can put weapons, foods, et cetera up on a "market". Depending on your trust level[let's say, 3] changes what type of trades you can get. So, levels under ten can only trade with levels under ten.
Leveling up system? Of course! Your trust level is the equivalent of tP. The max level cap will most likely be 25, to prevent having "lvl 100s" killing everyone.
Factions? Though there will be no set factions, players can choose different "morphs" later in the game. Morphs function like armor. They boost stats, change walkspeed, et cetera. Each "morph" will affect how AIs react to you. If you have the hazmat pack, they will often give you weapons. If you have the mutated survivor, they will often kill you.
NPCs/AIs? Yes. As mentioned before, I plan on having AIs/NPCs that react to your every choice[meaning choice level and morph pack, basically. :P] Not much to say here, though I'm open to ideas.
Storyline? Yes. Here is the basic, simple storyline: You wake up. It's hot, and dry. You keep thinking, "where am I..?" but know the answer is long gone, lost with the wind. Your eyes are coming back into focus. Your in a run down coffee shop. From the looks of it, it hasn't been in use for a decent fifteen years. You keep saying over and over, "..something isn't right.." You look down on your self. Everything looks normal, aside from some dust that had gathered. That's when you notice the red. "..what.." You have no memory whatsoever of beign cut anywhere. Looking at your hand, you notice scratches. A lot of them. Your thinking, "..something isn't right here...and I'm finding out what it is.."
Here's basically what I said above in a smaller format, for you lazy readers. Genre - RPG/Survival-Horror Open World? Yes Quests? Yes Equipment? Yes Levels? Trust Points/Level Storyline? Yes Factions? Yes/No

Hmm, the trust system is still quite unrealistic, since people still won't give items to you for free. How about that you need a certain trust level to be able to unlock items, but still need to gain money or do a favour for the NPCs. Favours might work as side quests too.
Also, you might want to work on the storyline a bit so as to make it seem much more engaging and authentic.
Make it have no weapons so that it creeps you out a little more at the start, and have guns seem hard to maintain and hard to find.

@First paragraph, mhmm, good idea. Althoguh the trade system would be where you can trade items that you need for items they need, which would also make you want to keep items in an "inventory" which depending on your trust level and morph pack, changes how many items you can take.
@Second Paragraph, hmmmm, yes I will work on it a bit.
@third paragraph, You have absolutely no weapons at the start. Guns will be hard to find, and will lower your walkspeed by a lot, which makes them hard to maintain. And ammo is very hard to find, and guns come with a small amount of ammo. |

I'll try and make an AI system, because the current one I have is buggy and stupid.
Make dynamic events too, such as if a building falls over, it might block a passage or a road to someplace, so then you'll have to find another way.

| Yes, I was thinking along those lines. Not necessarily for the quests, but for buildings, et cetera, yes. The starting city won't have any of that "dynaic events" because I want players to leave the city. That and the starting city will show the how great the building in it is. :3 |

"It's not a trade mark unless you buy one with ROBLOX's permission." Omg, if you read the ToS, you'll know that all stuff is rightfully ROBLOX's. Therefore, no real difference. We just put the trademark to make it look cooler. We know what copyrights, trademarks, registered is. :3
Also, how is the building architecture? Is it gonna be really realistic? Or, classical?

| It's going to be simplistic yet realistic. I won't be having random things floating in the air. Wait...yes I will. It will tie in with the backstory. Realism is a goal, but I want it to seem possible with ROBLOX, while making it give a realistic feeling. The buildings themselves will vary depnding on area. |

Then don't post. Anyway, here is an edited storyline.
Backstory: 15 years ago, a solar flare knocked out sattelites, radio, televisision and a lot more. That solar flare also messed wiuth the gravity of the earth. Hundreds of thousands of mutants roam the world, infecting everyone in it they can get to.
Plotline: You wake up with amnesia, no idea where you are. All you remember is a bright light and then being sorrunded by something..but what was it? Your covered in scratches and claw marks, and bleeding. Badly. You have no food, water, or weapons. Something isn't right.
Basically, the player has amnesia. |

| @ka, it would be campaign focused, but you are free to explore. For example, if an unknown sniper kills you, a cutscene would show you zooming in on that sniper and it would show him saying, "Hit..!" or something like that. But there would be story cutscenes. I'm still working it out and am only on the minimap stage. |
