So I was thinking of a fun way to change up the classic map of a brick battle while still implamenting the classic brick battle weapons. Then I remembered a long time ago back in late '08 tippy ship survival places we popular. For those who don't know, a tippy ship is basically a boat that tips what ever side is the heaviest, making players have to run around, over, and under the boat as it spins to avoid falling off.

So I thought it'd be fun to make that into a brick battle, just as a twist, have the battle inside a large cube (as an open map would become a problem) with the map spread out on all the inside surfaces for the players to battle on, around, and inside as the map itself spins and turns uncontrolably.

I think this idea would be realatively easy to make, just a simple tip brick and a map built around it, and the constantly changing surface keeps the battleground fresh and challenging with brick battle weapons.

Just a silly and fun thing to make. Even feel free to take this idea if you want, don't bother with credit. I'd just like to see it done by me or someone, at some time.

Simple, yet if implemented correctly, could be a perfect mix of classic and new.

Sounds good :) Another element added to classic,something to be aware of and aviod besides just players ! I look foward to seeing it.
Im hoping you make your own unique map,instead of using crossroads etc. :)
Plus to be fair most of my maps in myy game (Well i plan to) has a platforming element to it,not so much this one but other platforming ascepts. Most likely moving bricks that can crush emenies or moving/spinning turbines that do damage etc.

Yea, I wish chase-breakers were implamented into more combat games, you may not get the kill because of it, but it's always a hoot seeing your enemy get crushed by a giant hammer you lead them in to.

Hehe yep :) My traps will also be very tactial,one of the reasons is because if used correctly,it can actually help you out by going into the trap yourself.
One of the ideas is the 'tether' trap where a rope or something like that attachs to the person when they go near the trap.
When there's one,they can only move around in a circle.
When there's two they can only move forwards and backwards etc.
If your very creative, you can actually see how helpful this trap can be,not just for stopping the emeny,but because it can be used as a tool for quick getaways.

Ok, I'll make it. I'll add in some new modern st00f, whilst keeping old brickbattle weapons and old building architecture. :)

Ok, well, what do you want the arena to be like? Should I make different arenas? Like, one would be on a tippy ship, one would be on a tippy baseplate or what?

No, I mean the map is on the surface of the inside of the cube, and players fight on the inside surfaces of it. Not a map enclosed by a cube that players fight in. The cube is the map.

So, I'll make a hollow cube, and players would have to fight inside it? If that's the case, I'll make the cube rotate whatsoever.

I get watcha mean. Its a huge cube. Id Put between 100 by 100 on each side of it. and When you build the map Inside the Hollow cube you rotate it for easy access. Then Ether you can have it freerole (which wouldn't be a good idea) or role to one direction. And a nice thing you could do is Set it up so that there is a Gui timer with the kills and progress of teams and when that time is up it rotates to one side and if users are on the other map when it rotates they take fall damage or Killed.

I'm still tweeking some of the Bodyforce, but it's essentially finished. The concept, that is.

Due to BodyForce not being the same in Studio as in-game, I will need further testing. Until then, the map sort of breaks, then welds itself leaving odd angles. Looks kind of cool though.

And still playable to fight in.
