| Im fairly new to scripting and I need a script that would wait 3 minutes and then take a specific tool away. How would I go about that? |

| You'd make a wait for (60 x 3) 180 seconds then locate the tool, and call :Destroy() |

That simple? I've been thinking for hours but I couldnt fathom what to do.

It is that simple :P
Put a script in the tool and put this in it:
wait(60*3) script.Parent:Destroy() |

| Thank you so much everyone. Im not used to lua. I've used c++ so the simplicity of lua makes it kinda hard. If you understand what I mean... |
