| I Googled Russian to English alphabet, then matched the letters together. I figured it would look more Russian if I did it that way. c: |

You don't have to do that, people will understand you. I think you should use the Russian alphabet when you've finally learned it. Or else, it would be like using a translator, except it's a transliteration. Since you don't know the alphabet, replying to "kak dela"...
Horosho, a u tebya? |

| I know Russian very well but I don't think I'm a good teacher. Anyhow, I think you should learn the Russian alphabet first before any vocabulary. People transliterate the Russian alphabet differently, and a lot of sites you can use for learning Russian will teach you vocabulary in Cyrillic. But they probably do teach Cyrillic separately. |

Have you been in control panel's regional and language settings and changed it so that you can switch alphabets?

Uh, I don't have a Russian keyboard, so this is my "SUPER ENGLISH TRANSLITERATION".

That's formal for "how are you doing?" The one thing I don't like about transliterating Russian is that everyone writes it differently. I spell поживаешь like pozhivayesh. But you aren't wrong.
Horosho, spasiba. |
